TLDR; Inefficient check-in (& out) process, unprofessional, too much hassle - would not recommend. Look for different option!! Check-in process was a hassle. You have to get the key at their home and then you go to a different location to get the van (only easily an accessible by car or scooter 5-10min depending traffic). they force you to bypass snapcar default check in procedure otherwise you wouldn’t get the key… making you not take any pictures of the van or verify the mileage and tank gas in advance. In my case, the actual person renting and managing the app wasn’t there, it was delegated to a third person. And she wasn’t there to hand over the key. Trying to reach them was also slow (no phone answer and slow msg answer). All this resulted in a 1 hour delay until we got the van. If that wasn’t enough, the owner left mattress in the back of the van - which resulted in less space for us to move stuff and more hassle to put it back (or as the owner was hoping I would use my time and gas to throw it out at a landfill). My experience is that they are selfish and inconsiderate , wanting you to be understanding for them but not vice versa. Hence I wouldn’t recommend. There are way better options…
